Memphis, Day 5

Today was ‘half day Wednesday’, which means we had the afternoon off to do whatever we wanted. That didn’t leave a lot of time to work this morning, but we were able to get a few rows of shingles on our roof. After that we just headed west into downtown Memphis, and wandered around down there. Found a mall near the Peabody Hotel and ate dinner there at a restaurant that also had a video arcade. After that we just walked a couple of blocks west to see the Mississippi River.     That Pyramid shaped building is the University of Memphis’ basketball arena, all 32 stories high of it.

    WOW!! Love that Picture of my Burr Girls on the Mississippi River! I was raised in Arkansas and I crossed that river going home from Virginia too many times to count. Oh and all the groups dance moves are too SWEEEEEEEETT! Ha!! Love to all. Looks like everyone is having a great time. God Bless.
