Memphis Mission Trip, Day 1, Madison to Knoxville

We’re here…Knoxville that is. Not a bad trip. Humidity is a lot less here so the temp doesn’t feel so bad. Stopped twice on the way down, once near Salem for drinks and bathroom break, also topped off the gas tanks. Seems the vans are getting around 15 mpg, so that’s not too bad considering the AC is running full blast. Stopped again at Arby’s near Bristol for dinner. Had a little photo shoot there 🙂

GPS’s are wonderful things. If you don’t have one, run out right now and get one! Ours took us right to the church. Pretty cool.

Uploaded these using an internet connection through my cell phone. Can’t get any geekier than that!! It’s really slow..but better than nothing. Hopefully there’ll be a good wireless network in Memphis.

Millie and I are holding it down in Oak Park! We miss you guys so much already! Thanks for posting John – it’s the closest I can get to being there with you guys!
