In case you didn’t know, the Hardware Store Restaurant, on the downtown mall in Charlottesville, is closed and the building is undergoing renovation.  Mountain Lumber (where I work for my ‘day job’) is rescuing some of the old beams and lumber in the building and wanted some pictures of the building.

Here are a few outtakes from the shoot.  There was some cool ‘old stuff’ still in the building…hopefully they’ll preserve some of that.

This picture really doesn’t do it justice…but it was the best I could do.  There was a pretty heavy fog on the ground just as the sun came up….and that doesn’t show up really well in the photo.  It was much better in person 🙂
