From the MCHS Athletics website: “The Varsity Football team beat Nelson County tonight 28-8 in the season opener for both teams. Quarterback Will Taylor led the attack with 130 yards passing and 2 touchdowns. Ryan Banksand Sam Utz both caught touchdown passes on the night. Logan Terrell and Devon Boone controlled the ball on the ground combining for 134 yards rushing and 2 touchdowns. A.J. Butler led the defense with 13 tackles and Antonio Childress and Bradley Meadows each had an interception.
