MCHS Volleyball AT Clarke
The varsity girls pulled out a win last night in five games over Clarke. From the MCHS Athletics website:
The Varsity Volleyball team beat Clarke County last night 3-2. Tori Puryear led the Mountaineers with 21 kills and 16 blocks while serving 17-17 on the night. Hannah Morrison had 9 kills and 17 blocks while Cara McCurry had 9 blocks and 7 kills and 100% serving. Becca Ryder added 8 kills and Tiffany Geer had 27 assists and a 22-22 night behind the service line. Madison (6-12) is now 4-4 in the district and tied for 3rd place.
