…and this is what happens when you’ve rented a really big lens and the eagles aren’t cooperating…gotta take pictures of something!
Blackbirds (I guess that’s what they are) seem to really enjoy harassing the eagles. Yesterday when I was out, the female was sitting in a tree and two blackbirds came and ran her out of the tree. I’m pretty sure this is the male below and he wasn’t about to leave his tree.

After holding the Cougars scoreless for five innings, Madison was behind 2-0 going into the bottom of the fifth when I left.

After a 1 run first inning and a 10 run third inning, the girls were leading Manassas Park 11-0 when I left to go to baseball. Jordan Aylor was on the mound keeping Cougars off the bases.

A little bit of soccer….
The JV Girl’s were ahead 4-0 when I left with a few minutes left in the first half. Leanna Coates and Mary-Margaret Gaylord each scored two before it started raining too hard for me to keep shooting. By the time I got back for the varsity game, the second half had already started and Madison was up 7-0 and the sun was shining :-). Mariah Crigler finished off the Lady Cougars giving Madison an 8-0 win.

I left at the top of the fourth inning. After being down 9-0, Madison came back with a 5 run rally in the bottom of the third leaving the score at 9-5 when I left.
