I love day games….

This one was pretty much put away when Cara McCurry hit a three run home run followed right behind by Amber Robson with another homer.  Madison defeated the Lady Rams 8-1 to move on to the District Finals.

The girls and boys soccer teams won their District Quarter Final games yesterday.  The girls defeated Rappahannock 8-1, and the boys beat Strasburg 5-0.

Senior Night

Senior Kyle Louk, pitching his last regular season game as a Mountaineer, threw a one hit shutout giving Madison a 10-0 win over George Mason.

Varsity Baseball Tops Mason 10-0 The Varsity Baseball team beat George Mason last night 10-0. Kyle Louk went the distance on the mound tossing a 1 hitter and striking out 7. Madison’s lower part of the batting order came up big with 6 RBI. Jacob Houser was 2-2 with 2 RBI, Casey Campbell and Collin Tucker both were 1-3 with 2 RBI. Evan Tucker had 3 hits and scored 3 times. Louk, Will Taylor and Dylan Shifflette also had hits for the Mountaineers.

Senior Day (Madison lost 2-0 to the Mustangs)

After trailing 1-0 for most of the game, Madison scored a goal with less than three minutes in the game to tie it up…but a penalty kick less than a minute later did them in, giving the JV girls a 2-1 loss.
