MCHS Golf vs Clarke

Published by under clarke,golf

Sprinklers came on for a few minutes while we were on the first hole.  I don’t think anyone got wet, but made for a few interesting photos.

From the MCHS Athletics website:

The Golf team hosted Clarke County today at the Greene Hills Golf Course. Clarke won the match 161-174 but the Mountaineers performed well. Josh Honaker shot a season best round of 42 over 9 holes to lead Madison. Casey Campbell (43), Kyle Davis (season best 44) and Hunter Preddy (season best 45) were the other scorers.

MCHS Team Photos

Published by under mchs

Naw, the ones I took weren’t for here…they’ll go in the fall program and on the MCHS Athletics website.

I get strange looks a lot…doesn’t bother me anymore…

We also took a few minutes to shoot a varsity volleyball poster for this year, here’s a little outtake so you’ll  know what you have to look forward to…

Bike Rodeo

Published by under cycling

Bike Rodeo today put on by the sheriff’s department (click any photo to see a bunch more photos)

….there were prizes, including footstools expertly crafted by Journey Beasley…

…it was a little slow at first, I think everyone was waiting to see what the weather was going to do…

…there were bikes of all sizes….

…..and kids of all sizes….

…and there were games…

…and a blow up bouncy thing…

..and drawings for prizes…

…and anyone who needed one could get a free bike helmet, expertly fitted by expert helmet fitters…

..and there was also a bike check station worthy of photographing.  Your bike was checked over, tires checked and pumped if necessary, and chains lubed…

…so, why weren’t you there????
