MCHS Volleyball AT Strasburg

Published by under strasburg,volleyball

I just shot a little from the stands last night.  Madison played a GREAT match last night.  They stuck with Strasburg the whole match, rarely was there more than a 2 or 3 point difference in the score.  Well worth the drive over there.  Here is a nice article on the match on the NVDaily.com website, Lindsay linked to it from the MountaineerVolleyball.com website.  Here are a few pictures:

Sign guy…it was Senior Night at Strasburg

Ellie finished off game 4 with a kill that sent the match to five games, first time the Lady Rams have been taken to five games all season….

Yep, worth celebrating…

And now a little review of a crucial ref call…Katy was called for a foot fault late in the fifth game, but, upon further review, it looks like a bad call to me.  I see unpainted floor between her toe and the line in the both the before-hit and after-hit photos below…

…doesn’t change the outcome…but just thought you needed to know…

MCHS Cross Country vs Rappahannock, Clarke, George Mason, Manassas Park, and Strasburg

A little gloomy, and it started raining by the time the girls ran…and I don’t really know the results other than Lynn Welch placed third for the boys and Clare Moretz placed second for the girls….and I liked this picture of the silo….
