Madison competed against Manassas Park in their second match of the day.  That match ended in a 34-34 tie.  After a lot of consulting with the rule book, Manassas Park was eventually given the win.  From what I overheard, they had to go to the eighth tie breaker before a winner could be determined….but don’t quote me on that.  (click one of the pictures below to see photos from that match)

MCHS Girls Basketball vs Fluvanna

Published by under basketball,fluvanna

Madison jumped out to a quick 8-0 lead, and never trailed during the first half.  Fluvanna tied it at 23 with a three pointer just before the half-time buzzer.  After half-time, the Lady Flucos took the lead and never trailed during the second half.  The score was 47-35 Fluvanna with less than a minute to play.  I made my exit when the fouling started…that just delays my bedtime.
