Wetsel Middle School Basketball vs Luray

I couldn’t stay to the end of the girl’s game, had to leave for a meeting, but I’m pretty sure they won.  They were leading 36-7 with 3:55 to play when I left 🙂

The Wetsel boys had a rough night, they lost to Luray 35-21.

MCHS Basketball at Orange

Long day of basketball, 3250 photos over the four games!  All four games are now online.  Click on the pictures below to go to the respective games.  Coverage was somewhat in favor of Orange in all four games because I was also shooting for their yearbook….

(click here for a Daily Progress article on the varsity games)  Madison’s varsity boy’s pulled out an exciting win tonight at Orange, defeating the Hornets 78-76.  Madison was down by 7 points with 1:38 to play, and came back to get the win…there was a big 5 point play where Travis Warren made a 3, and Matt Temple was fouled on the floor and made both of his free throws, that really got Madison back into the game.  And the win came mostly because Madison made their free throws, and Orange missed theirs in those closing seconds of the game.
