Published by under boys basketball, manassas park, mchs

From MCHSAthletics.org:

The Boys Varsity Basketball team beat Manassas Park at home tonight on Senior Night 64-44.

All four Mountaineer Seniors (Patrick Roebuck, Travis Warren, Nick Paxton and Gage Berryman) were honored prior to the game.

Madison using the momentum from the pregame ceremonies jumped out to a 9-0 lead in the 1st quarter and never trailed the rest of the game.

The Cougars made a run in the 2nd quarter cutting the halftime margin to 23-17.

Madison held a double digit lead for most of the 2nd half with the exception of one Park run that cut the margin to 5. Madison used an 11-0 to start the 4th quarter to seal the win.

Travis Warren led the way for Madison with 17 points and 11 assists. Matt Temple finished with 14 and Patrick Roebuck added 12 points. Nick Paxton had 9 points and again was dominant on the defensive end of the floor blocking several shots and grabbing a bunch of rebounds. Gage Berryman added 6 points as well.

Madison’s JV boys also won tonight, defeating Manassas Park 58-43.

MCHS Fall and Winter Sports Posters

Published by under Sports Posters

I’ve had a couple of requests to purchase these, so here they are.  They’re only available in a 2×3 ratio (8×12, 12×18, 20×30, and 24×36) because cropping to a different ratio cuts into the text.  The two larger sizes will be mounted on 1/4″ foamcore, which will keep the print from sagging if you frame it, or you can just mount it to the wall as is.  Click the poster below to see all of them.
