Madison Parks and Rec Baseball-Game Action

Published by under youth baseball

NOTE:  We didn’t get all the team and individual photos done yesterday due to two Minor teams playing in Orange….and the rain that came up rather suddenly.  We’ll do those teams on Saturday, April 28.  Please arrive 1 hour before game time for individual photos, and we’ll do the teams once all the team is there.

I shot two games in between the team & individual photos yesterday.  First up was Rookie League Blue vs Maroon. (click any image to see all the photos)

And the other game was Majors Royal vs White

MCHS Varsity Softball vs William Monroe

Published by under mchs,softball,William Monroe

Madison’s varsity softball team defeated William Monroe last night 6-1.  I left at the end of the fourth inning with Madison up 2-1.  Cassity Lacy (running for Karri Carpenter) had just scored the go ahead run putting Madison up 2-1.  Lauren Seale got the win on the mound for Madison.  (click any picture to see the entire gallery from the game)

MCHS Girl’s Soccer vs William Monroe

Published by under girls soccer, mchs,William Monroe

Madison’s varsity girl’s soccer team defeated William Monroe yesterday 2-0.  Both Madison goals were scored by Lindsay Wheeler.  Madison is now 4-2 in Bull Run District play.  (click on an image below to see the gallery from that game)

Madison’s JV girl’s soccer team also won yesterday, defeating William Monroe 3-1.  I had just arrived when the first goal was scored, and don’t know for sure whether Abby Bowman or Courtney Pooton scored that one.  They were both right in front of the goal and I couldn’t tell which one had the last touch.  Courtney scored later in the first half, and again in the second half, to give Madison the 3-1 win.
