MCHS Volleyball vs Rappahannock
With quite a bit of help from the student section, Madison varsity volleyball defeated Rappahannock tonight 3-1. Madison lost the first set to Rapp but had a pretty nice run of points near the end of the set to make it close, eventually losing 22-25. The second set was all Madison 25-15. And after that, anytime the Lady Mountaineers started to lose momentum, the student section kicked in to bring it back. There was definitely a “home field advantage” tonight. Madison’s JV volleyball team lost to Rappahannock tonight 2-0 (22-25 and 18-25). You don’t often get a chance to shoot into the sun inside Wetsel gym. I happened to be sitting at just the right spot during the JV match for a little solar flare….. (click the picture below to go to the jv gallery)
