Katherine Johnson Retirement Celebration & MCHS Varsity Girl’s Basketball vs Manassas Park
I’m a little slow getting these online, sorry about that. Anyway, Saturday was a good night. Madison’s varsity girls avenged an earlier season loss the Manassas Park, defeating the Cougars 42-23. The game was preceded by a retirement celebration for 36 year girl’s basketball coach Katherine Johnson. A number of basketball alumni came back to celebrate with Coach Johnson, including members of her first team in 1978.
