Our regular announcement (you only need to read it once):
The sports and portrait galleries on the website all expire on June 30, 2014. Once they expire, I’ll be upgrading to a new shopping cart system here. The cart is coded by the same company, but the new cart is a totally new design and is much more mobile device friendly (VERY important these days). The downside of all this is that you will lose all your “Favorites” if you have them, and I know some of you have been saving them for years. SO, if those favorites are important to you, be sure to write down numbers or print out your Favorites page. I WILL NOT be able to get them back for you. All the photos will still be available on my archive site,berrysports.photoshelter.com but there is no link between that site and the current shopping cart. I just wanted you to be warned.
Well, I made it to two of the three senior nights. Softball was playing a double header and doing senior night between games, but at least was there for the District awards. Madison softball has 8 players on the All District teams: First Team All District: Mariann Smith, Kaitlin Aylor, Lauren Seale, Sam Breeden, and Sam Atwell; Second Team honors: Bailey Colvin, Chandler Gentry, and Raegan Clatterbaugh. And Lauren Seale is Bull Run District Player of the Year. Click on the appropriate photo below to see the gallery. I only shot the first 30 minutes or so of each game.
Madison jumped out to a 12-0 lead over Manassas Park in the first inning. Lauren drove in six of those runs hitting TWO 3-run home runs in the first inning! The second one is picture here.
