From MCHS Athletics:  The Boys Basketball team beat Clarke County tonight 65-47. Kobi Alexander led the Mountaineers with 26 points. Gaines Swink and Elijah Lewis combined for 27 points. Madison is now 2-9 on the season and 1-1 in the Bull Run District. From Madison Athletics:  The Girls Varsity Basketball team won their Bull Run District opener tonight 45-28 over Rappahannock. Makayla Taylor led the Mountaineers with 13 points. Abi Tanner scored 9 points while Makenna Santinga and Sophia Adams each had 7. Madison is now 6-5 on the season and will host Central Woodstock on Friday night at 7:30.
