Madison vs Central – Bull Run District Softball Semi Final

Madison defeated Central this evening 1-0 to advance to the finals of the Bull Run District Softball Tournament.  The game was scoreless into the fifth inning when Cagney Shifflett doubled, and Sam Breeden singled her in for what would be the game winning run.  Madison will play Clarke this Thursday, in Madison at 7:00 pm in the Bull Run District Final.  (click either picture below to see the gallery from the game)

MCHS Varsity Softball vs Central Woodstock

Madison’s Lauren Seale threw her second no-hitter of the season, shutting out Central 6-0, and tallied 14 K’s for the night.  Madison is now 12-3 for the season, and 9-1 in Bull Run District play.  (click the photo below to see the gallery)
