Madison’s JV girls won rather easily also, defeating Strasburg 5-0.

Madison’s varsity girl’s defeated Strasburg today 7-0.  I lost track of the scorers…but Ivy scored a whole bunch…

I took zillions of the photos of the bald eagles that live in our neighborhood last year….and am now starting on the second zillion 🙂 Here are a few from today.  The black bird in the last few photos is the “baby” from last year.  He/she came flying up behind me…and mom and dad promptly chased him/her away.

Yep, at the moment, they have sole possession of first place in the Bull Run District.  Their next home game is Tuesday at 5:30pm against Strasburg.  Come see ’em play!

…and there are 9 seniors on the team.   Does that sound familiar?

Madison’s varsity softball team won their sixth straight game this evening defeating Clarke 11-0.  Madison is now 3-0 in Bull Run District play (10-3 overall) and have outscored their Bull Run District opponents 43-0.

Oh yeah, that was much better than a tie!  Madison defeated Clarke today 1-0 to remain undefeated and up their record to 8-0-1.  Madison’s loan goal was scored in the 72nd minute of the game when Samantha Cubbage drilled a shot into the corner of the goal.  (click a photo to see the entire gallery)
