MCHS Girl’s Soccer vs Manassas Park

Published by under girls soccer, manassas park, mchs

Well, first announcement is we shot another rather awesome soccer poster for this year.  Not that I had anything to do with its awesomeness….I just seem to get good subjects 🙂  And, as with last year, one of my favorite photos came from one of the light checks….(you can click the one below for a larger version)

And both girl’s teams picked up 5-0 wins today over Manassas Park.  Varsity first half goals by Lindsay Aldridge, Samantha Cubbage, and Lindsey Wheeler.  Second half goals by Maria Rincon and Lindsey Wheeler.  I normally don’t like shooting into the sun…but liked a few of the images today, especially this one of Lindsey…

The JV girls also won 5-0.  First half goals by Abby Bowman and Savannah Bench (2).  Second half goals by Sheridan Santinga (2).

MCHS Boys Soccer vs William Monroe

Published by under boys soccer, mchs,William Monroe

For the second time this season, the Madison vs William Monroe varsity boy’s soccer teams played each other for 80 minutes….and nobody won.  And this time, they added on two 5 minute overtime periods….and nobody won.  Oh well….that’s soccer.   I love shooting it…but just can’t get over the tie thing.

William Monroe jumped out to a early 2-0 lead.  Nick Camillucci scored for Madison with about 10 minutes left in the first half to bring Madison within 1.  He would score again in the second half to tie the game at 2….and that’s where it stayed.

I just liked the symmetry of this one..

Madison’s JV boy’s soccer team lost to William Monroe 3-1.  Madison’s only goal was scored by Daniel Richards.
