MCHS Varsity Girls Basketball vs Strasburg

The Girls Basketball team beat Strasburg tonight 38-30 to win their Bull Run District opener. Abi Tanner led the Mountaineers with 12 points. Madison also got excellent defensive performances by Sterlyn Woodward, Lindsay McDaniel and Hannah Johnson. Madison is now 6-4 overall and 1-0 in the district. The Mountaineers will travel to Rappahannock on Wednesday for a 7:30 game. Click the photo below to see photos from the varsity game.
The JV team beat Strasburg 31-24. Madison will travel to Rapp on Wednesday for a 6:00 game. (I arrived too late for the JV game)
