MCHS Girl’s Basketball vs Rappahannock

The Girls Basketball team picked up their 1st win of the season tonight with a hard fought 45-36 win over Rappahannock. Madison trailed by 6 after 3 quarters but outscored the Panthers 21-6 in the 4th to pull away. Makenna Santinga led the Lady Mountaineers with 16 points and Makayla Taylor added 12. Madison also got good performances from Morgan McClelland, Zoe Graves and Kara Price as well. Madison will travel to Central Woodstock on Tuesday night. MCHS Varsity Girls Basketball vs Rappahannock.
Madison’s JV girls also picked up their first win of the season defeating Rappahannock 21-20. The game was tied at 20 with 12.3 seconds left on the clock. Amaya Johnson sunk the first of her free throws to give Madison the win. (click the photo below to see the JV gallery)
