MCHS Varsity Softball vs Goochland, Region 2A East Final
From MCHS Athletics: The Softball team beat Goochland tonight 2-1 in 12 innings to win the 2A East Championship. Freshmen Emily Seale came in to pitch the final 5 innings to earn the win and also hit the walk off home run in the bottom of the 12th to give the Mountaineers the Region Title. Madison will play Lebanon on Friday June 9th at 1:00 at Radford University in the VHSL Group 2A State Softball Tournament.
